Launch of fmcg accelerator
After the success of our summer XLRadar Acceleration Program, where we funded 7 startups in e-commerce, health, entertainment and education, we are launching a new Accelerator in September - the XLRadar Consumer Goods program focused on fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
This time around, we are searching for business ideas in the fields of fresh, organic, and dry foods, pastries, beverages, cosmetics, health and beauty products, office and household supplies, and others.
The best participants will take part in an intensive one-month program to develop their business plans and meet with experts and founders of companies from the FMCG sector.
Among the mentors of the program are:
Nikolay Todorov from Delishu
Petko Tsochev from Street Chefs
And many other experienced founders and professionals from the sector.
The projects that fulfil the KPIs in the program will present their business idea at the “Investor’s Day” to a jury and representatives of venture capital funds and business angels.
The best teams at the “Investor’s Day” may receive an investment of €25,000, and three of the companies will have the opportunity to receive an additional €75,000 over the next 12 months.
Projects and entrepreneurs can submit applications until September 6th, 2021.
Innovation Capital has already invested in 7 FMCG companies. Some of them are:
· Snack Art (healthy bars, sweets and snacks under the Scala brand)
· Baby Kitchen (a platform for ordering baby food)
· Pureo.bio (organic baby food)
· Tropicana (cosmetics based on bio coconut oil)
